Bottled from a single barrel at the Jack Daniel distillery. Each barrel is carefully selected by the Master Distiller who assesses its suitability as a standalone product before giving it the greenlight. The result is a fine, handcrafted single barrel whiskey with robust flavour and Jack Daniel’s characteristic smooth charcoal taste. Due to the subtle differences in each barrel that is selected, each bottle is hand labelled with a unique code, barrel number and bottling date.
Tasting note
Good body with plenty of toasty oak, there are notes of corn and lovely cereal sweetness, there is a good smoke note, a little spice and toffee. Palate is full and mouth-filling, the rye is in evidence with a touch of cigar box and nut oils, a little spice and an aniseed character. Good length finish with a hint of citrus and plenty of cereal sweetness.
