Emerging from a conversation between Jameson's head distiller and the head brewer of Cork’s Franciscan Well Brewery, this expression from the Caskmates series has kept all the smoothness you expect from Jameson whiskey, but now with additional notes of cocoa, coffee and butterscotch from the stout influence.
Tasting Note
Crisp orchard fruits on the nose, with green apples, pears, and mild pot still spices. To taste, you'll find a subtle touch of hops, cocoa beans, and charred oak. Finish is long and sweet with notes of chocolate and butterscotch.
