It’s powerful yet graceful, with ripe stone fruit, lime zest and citrus blossom on the nose, a rich, creamy palate wrapped in toasted nuts and subtle flint, and a savoury baking spice finish that lingers beautifully. The palate is tight and focused, with fine acidity that keeps everything in check, delivering a long, seamless finish that screams class.
There's obvious barrel influence, but it’s elegant and not overblown. Think creamy mouthfeel, restrained power, and just enough structure to cellar if you can resist. This is top-shelf Hawke’s Bay Chardonnay with serious pedigree.
Tasting note
Pale golden yellow with ripe stone fruit, citrus and lime characters. Toasted nuts with subtle flint backbone. Well integrated oak, tight streamline acid with floral white flower/citrus blossom and savoury baking spice finish.
