Made from 100% NZ grown un-smoked malted barley, triple distilled through hand beaten copper pot stills and matured in an American oak ex-Bourbon barrel.
Only 281 bottles in existence. Comes in a black gift box, and each label is numbered by hand.
On the nose, we have delicate notes of freshly sliced green apple, sprinkled with cinnamon. The sweetness of candied, toasted barley, and a hint of rhubarb crumble.
Palate brings a touch of spice, cinnamon, clove, and star anise. Rich sweetness reminiscent of toffee apples. Finishing with toffee and stewed fruit, that gives way to spice, and a final note of rhubarb crumble.
