Amrut Fusion holds some of the most prestigious awards and medals from around the globe, including being named 'World Whisky of the Year' at the Malt Advocates Whisky Awards & 'Grand Master of World Whisky' at the Spirits Business Awards in London.
The name 'Fusion' has been chosen for this fantastic single-malt whisky from Amrut - as it's made with barley grown in India, where the Amrut Distillery can be found, as well as peated barley from Scotland. A fusion of greatness to say the least.

Tasting Note
Nose is heavy, thickly oaked and complex with barley-sugar notes, shrouded in soft smoke. Big, but somehow also seductively gentle.
On delivery to the palate, though controlled at first, is massive! Then more complexity as that smoke on the nose turns into warming, full-blown peat, but it far from gets in its own way as a vague sherry trifle notes, and custard-like oaky vanilla - hammers home that barley - fruitiness to make for a bit of a free-for-all; but for extra food measure the flavours develop into a really intense chocolate fudge middle which absolute resonates through the palate.
Finish has dry peat and oak and enough molassed sweetness to see the malt through to a satisfying end. Above all the spices, rather than lying down and accepting their fate, rise up and usher this extraordinary whisky to its exit.
