Syrah & Shiraz

Syrah and Shiraz are the same grape grown in different traditions, with Syrah usually the term used in France and cooler climates for a more peppery, structured style, and Shiraz used in Australia and elsewhere for bigger, riper, more fruit-forward wines. Both deliver dark fruit, spice, and enough tannin to stand up to a good steak or a winter stew.
