Imagination's Wakame Seaweed Dry Gin is distilled with wild New Zealand Wakame, harvested off the Kapiti Coast. After trialling several types of NZ seaweeds, the wakame was chosen for its distinctive salty and umami flavours.
The gin begins fresh and sweet, with an initial burst of citrus, before fading to reveal the juniper. All leading to an incredible sweet and salty finish.
This new release is already a massive hit with cocktail makers across NZ, and also pairs fantastically with citrusy tonics, though we recommend trying it first with a good soda water, to really experience the unique, yet subtle salty character.
