The Story: The team at National Distillery had recently undertaken a contract to distil an aspiring brand their own premium gin. Unfortunately for them (but fortunately for you) this new brand went under before they even got to bottling, and the National Distillery were left with a tank full of this recently perfected gin recipe.
National Distillery decided to cut their losses and approached us to pick up the entirety of this 'Mystery Gin' with an undeniable offer - and after trying it we couldn't have said yes faster. A quick label design later, and here we are!
The Taste: The Mystery Gin has all the core characteristics of National Distillery's top-end gins: Ultra-smooth, bright, refreshing, and bursting with a dance of complex, yet oddly familiar botanical flavours.
Juniper-led and citrus-forward, this is a modern take on a premium dry gin, with some classic New Zealand botanicals also punching through. Will make for an awesome G&T, or shine in your favourite gin-based cocktails.

I’m quite particular in my taste for gin, & dithered over buying a gin I knew nothing about. The varietal description read ok though, & the price per bottle was worth the experiment, so I leapt in with the six pack! Delivery was super prompt & the gin has not disappointed. Not a top favourite but certainly an enjoyable drink. I am very happy with my buy!
