A pinot / shiraz blend was a first for us, when this came across our desk, but after tasting it - this softly composed Aussie red was a incredibly pleasant surprise! Plus at this price, it's sure to put a smile on the face of any bargain hunter.
Look for loads of classic pinot flavours in the dark cherry spectrum with some weight and spice from the shiraz component. It's bright, juicy and uncomplicated - which is exactly what wine in the price bracket should be - and a very attractive option when you want something delicious that won't break the bank.
