Inspired by those who adventure past the known horizons, Sailors Home is the culmination of Master Distiller Dr. Jack Ó'Sé's 40+ years of whiskey journey, creating and innovating exploratory new Irish whiskey expressions for all to discover.
The Haven is no exception to this; a distinct and captivating Single Pot Still Irish whiskey, triple pot distilled using a mash bill of malted and unmalted Irish barley, along with oats for a distinct creamy texture.
This special spirit was then aged to perfection using Spanish Oloroso Sherry and American Bourbon casks, a nod to the centuries-old trade route from Spain, through Limerick, to the New World.
Tasting note
Aromas of green grapes, warm spice, and honeyed oak, followed by a creamy mouthfeel and notes of pot spices, roasted almonds, and vanilla. The finish is characterised by brown sugar and ripe black fruits.
