'From the land of the great Himalayas' comes this new release from Amrut distillery, bottled at a punchy 61.8%. Another classic single malt from Amrut, produced from a blend of several American oak barrels, delivering fruity flavours such as orange and apricot along with sweet spice and a buttery oaky character.
This whisky is bottled exactly how it came out of the casks where it was matured so you can enjoy an intense flavour experience, uncoloured and non-chill filtered of course.
Tasting note
This single malt offers a sweet nose of honey and malt extract, complemented by a hint of spices. On the palate, a multitude of flavors are revealed including sweetness, spice, cinnamon toast, Dutch Speculaas biscuits, clove-studded oranges, and a touch of bitter barrel char.
