The stunningly complex Amrut Spectrum 004, a one of a kind Single Malt Whisky by Amrut aged in a special cask made of 4 different Oaks.
This whisky utilizes a unique two-part maturation process, starting with New Make spirit aged in ex-Bourbon casks and then transferred to custom barrels. These specially made barrels contain 4 different staves - new American Oak with Char level 3, new French Oak with light toasting, ex-Olorosso staves, and ex-PX Sherry staves - all contributing their own distinct characteristics and complexities to the final product on both the nose and palate.
Tasting note
Amrut Spectrum 004 is a rich and smooth experience, featuring a gentle dusting of spices and the sweet creaminess of vanilla. Juicy sultanas add a fruity touch and a subtle hint of phenol, while the wood notes are perfectly balanced. The finish is refreshingly minty with a satisfying sweetness.
