Vinted from 100% Pinot Meunier ('the Champagne grape'), this 2022 release is classically light pink with the 'white onion skin' colour of Provence Rosé. The palate is bright and vibrant, with a plush vein of fleshy red fruits in the mid-palate bringing a creamy hint of juiciness. Tangy mineral notes close out proceedings, and the lasting impression is crisp, refreshing and very moreish. Any fan of good New Zealand Rosé will immediately see the quality cues on offer here - but that dry, mineral-tinged finish will put a smile on the face of French Rosé fans too.
