$77.99 $94.99

Fresh New Look, Same Delicious Liquid.

Just in time for Summer, Imagination have given their original bottle a stunning new redesign to match the award-winning quality of the unchanged spirit inside. Featuring imagery and designs that draw inspiration from their roots, these bottles are sure to turn heads on your shelf!

Here's a world-class drop that not only gin connoisseurs will revel in, but whiskey lovers too!

The Black Barn winemakers have joined forces with the legendary team at Imagination Distillery to create this wonderful and unique gin. The first round of this collaboration saw unprecedented sales, and due to the barrel aging process, it's since been unavailable for months. Well, they have now just nailed another batch and we made sure to get our hands on it as soon as it was bottled.

The winemakers chose tightly grained and lightly toasted French oak barrels, which were used in the production of their Syrah. Then back at the distillery they are filled with Imagination's highest quality triple-distilled dry gin and carefully aged, letting nature take its course until the flavours develop into a vibrant and fruity gin, with a soft oaky body and lingering dry spice.

My favourite winter gin!

Seeing that no one had reviewed this gin, I thought I have to change that as this gin is superb! This is actually one of my staple gins... I drink it all year round, but way more in winter. Paired with an Alchemy mixer - a light plain tonic, blood orange soda or a Spiced Gingerale (that they've now deleted, shock horror!!) and garnished with a slice of orange and sprig of thyme, this is a perfect winter warming tipple. Just do your usual in summer - the barrel aging adds a hint of toasty caramel flavour and softens the gin. Anyone who hasn't tried it, should take a punt - it really is one of the best NZ has to offer. IMO.
