The NZ Rum Co is an New Zealand based small-batch rum distillery founded in 2020. when Distiller Rob O’Connell decided to make his dream into a reality after years of skippering superyachts around the world.
With a love for the ocean and boats, there were many hours spent discussing the history and heritage of rum. From this the dream was born, to bring the craft of rum back to New Zealand, combining the traditional base of rum production with the modern palette looking for fresh botanicals and elements of spice.
