McArthur Ridge McArthur Gully Pinot Noir 2022 is effectively the same wine - but a small portion of the Southern Tor blend was aged in experimental barrels. This minor difference prevented the winery owners from labelling this release as Souther Tor - so the McArthur Gully label was devised. If you're looking for truly world class pinot noir at an affordable price, this is the opportunity you've been waiting for.
McArthur Gully Pinot Noir is yet another outstanding release from McArthur Ridge that bursts with flavours of black cherries, smoky oak and gamey characters. Previous purchasers of Southern Tor will be absolutely smitten with the sheer quality this wine offers. We really can't recommend this highly enough.
Tasting note
McArthur Gully displays great elegance, balance, and purity, with wonderful complexity of flavours of dried herb, earthy mushroom, dark cherries and hints of exotic spice. We expect this wine to reward careful cellaring for another 7-15 years.
