We were seriously impressed when we tried this mouthfilling French Chardonnay. Domaine Grier’s 2022 release shows a bright, inviting nose with ripe stone fruit and citrus notes that leap from the glass - with underlying oak spice adding complexity.
On the palate it’s creamy and full-flavoured, delivering layers of peach, nectarine, and another touch of wood spice. The balance is spot on with fresh acidity keeping it lively, while the wine’s good length carries those flavours long into the finish.
This is modern French Chardonnay at its most appealing: vibrant, stylish, and oh-so drinkable. Pair it with roast chicken, creamy pasta, or simply pour a glass and let it shine on its own. For this price, Domaine Grier seriously overdelivers.
Tasting note
Fresh and elegant Chardonnay with white peach, citrus and subtle oak spice on the nose. The palate is creamy yet vibrant, showing stonefruit and lemon zest balanced by bright acidity. A touch of toasted almond lingers on the clean, refined finish.
