After the lesser 2022 and 2023 vintages, this eighth vintage sees GOLD in its best ever form. The 2024 is vinted in the classic 'old school' style - richly weighted with masses of ripe stonefruit flavours, all smothered with lashings of lemon cream. It's balanced and satisfying. There's nothing elegant about it. Praise the Lord.
Tasting note
Bright pale gold, this Chardonnay expresses aromas of sweet golden fleshed stone fruit, pineapple, jasmine and ripe citrus. Added richness from oak gives aromas of hazelnut and cream. The wonderfully rich palate shows Chardonnay at its’ best with full flavours of golden peach and pineapple wrapped in nutty oak and lashings of cream. Already drinking well, this wine will blossom over the next five years developing added richness and charm.
