A study in modern Marlborough Chardonnay with a perfect degree of flinty aromatics that flow through to the palate with layers of tangy fruits and creamy mouthfeel. Captivating wine at an affordable price point. Very highly recommended.

Tasting note

Sam Kim, Wine Orbit: "Fine and elegant, the enticing bouquet shows lemon pith, crunchy apple, nectarine, nougat, and almond meal nuances with an attractive flinty complexity. The palate exhibits outstanding concentration and focus, brilliantly supported by refined texture and beautifully pitched acidity, leading to a sustained, alluring finish."

Cameron Douglas MS: "An excellent wine with a bouquet of freshness and complexity, variety and definitive style. Aromas of cashew nut and fresh peach then lemon and spiced brown pear. The lees that this wine rested on showcases an earthy mineral quality, shape and form. Dry and nicely taut on the palate with the impact of acidity, youth and lees showing first then fruit flavours that reflect the bouquet."

Stephen Wong MW: "Restrained nose, a little mealy and doughy with delicate melon aromas. Vibrant acidity with mid-weight fruit of pink grapefruit and green melon along with a hint of reduction lending a stony edge to the palate. Moderate density, if youthfully compact, building towards the back palate where some sappy fruit emerges to coat the satisfyingly chewy phenolics which bring out some length. The oak is subtle and well integrated even at this early awkward stage of the wine. It will come together over the next year or two and deliver light complexity over an elegant frame."
