Distilleries de Provence Orange Colombo is a bright, bittersweet French orange aperitif that brings a proper Mediterranean feel to the glass. Made by Distilleries et Domaines de Provence, it takes the classic idea of vin d'orange and gives it a polished, cocktail-friendly twist, making it a brilliant bottle for spritzes, long drinks or simply poured over ice when you want something citrusy and a little more interesting. It is built around sweet and bitter orange character, with a refreshing balance that keeps it lively rather than overly sweet.
Orange Colombo combines bitter orange peel, sweet orange infusions, rosé wine, quinquina and sugar, with some descriptions also noting curaçao and bark infusions as part of its layered profile. That mix gives it a bittersweet, aromatic style with plenty of orange zest up front, gentle spice through the middle and a lingering citrus bitterness on the finish. A very handy bottle to have around for aperitif hour, especially if you like your drinks fresh, zesty and just slightly grown up.
