Made in Martinborough, this is a proper premium dry gin built for drinkers who like their gin juniper-forward and full of attitude, rather than soft or overly delicate. It is bright, complex and assertive, with enough structure to hold its own in a serious G&T or any cocktail that needs the gin to do some heavy lifting.
This audacious small batch gin is made with thirteen hand-selected botanicals and a whey-based neutral spirit, with the juniper going through a 24 hour activated maceration before distillation. Lifted citrus and lavender brighten the palate, while spice, earthy notes and a touch of umami bring depth and a subtle sense of New Zealand coastal character. Bottled at 48%, it is a gutsy, seriously flavour-packed expression that more than earns its premium tag.
