Amontillado sherry casks sit between the lightness of Fino and the richness of Oloroso, bringing toasted almond, hazelnut, and gentle oak to the fore. Kavalan's signature tropical intensity adds extra layers of exotic fruit and spice for a whisky that’s both elegant and powerful.
Tasting Notes
Aromas of peaches, melon, marzipan and honey glide into rich notes of walnut, almond and soft toffee. The palate is full and fruity with sweet oak and a touch of caramel. The finish is long and gently warming, with peppercorn spice and sherry-soaked cherries.
