Big, bold, and beautifully smoky - Lagg Corriecravie is a dram that demands attention. Crafted on the Isle of Arran, this peated single malt is finished in Oloroso sherry hogsheads, layering rich, dark fruit and spice over its smouldering heart of coastal peat.
Distilled with locally sourced barley and matured with care, Lagg Corriecravie balances its rugged smokiness with a velvety depth. The sherry cask finish adds a luscious sweetness, making each sip a perfect harmony of fire and finesse.
Tasting Notes
Waves of warm peat smoke roll in first, followed by notes of dried figs, rich toffee, and a touch of dark chocolate. The finish is long and complex, with hints of cinnamon, oak, and a lingering whisper of maritime salt.
Best enjoyed neat or with a splash of water to open up the full spectrum of flavours - but however you drink it, Lagg Corriecravie is one to savour.
