Tasting note
Cameron Douglas MS: "This is a lovely example of GV from the Esk Valley in Hawkes Bay with a bouquet that needs a little time to open up and find the right ambient temperature - for me probably 13 Celsius. Aromas and flavours of pomaceous fruits, a touch of pineapple then delicate dried herb, and white pepper. These ideas follow through onto the palate with a decent acid line and freshness, then flavours that repeat. Dry, balanced and well made with best drinking from day of purchase through 2030."
The winery writes: "Perfumed orange blossom notes mingle with fresh rock melon and white fleshed nectarine. A generous and silk textured palate supported by a long dry finish, fresh acidity and a gentle warm white pepper spice."
