To receive a Double Gold Medal, the wine has to score a Gold Medal from every judge in the both the initial and recall round of tasting. Made by the Aussie winemaking legend Johnny Quarisa, the man behind the heavy hitters like Shot in the Dark and 30 Mile, this is juicy, perfumed red with immediate appeal. Deep, dark and seductive, with a lavish core of ripe black fruits and floral lift, it's wonderfully integrated with plush tannins and a long finish.
