Delicious Central Otago Pinot Noir. Sweetly fruited and spicy on the nose, there's an abundance of dark cherry and roasted nut aromas flowing through to a totally pleasing palate. Soft and supple, this is on the savoury side of the flavour spectrum with dark, serious fruits on the palate.
Ted by Mount Edward was purely designed to produce wines that you keep going back for more. This 2022 release does just that. This pinot is beautifully fruit driven with a lot going on in the glass, yet remains totally approachable and more-ish. It has received the same care and attention in the winery as their single vineyard, premium releases, so you know that the trademark Mount Edward quality cues are in full-force here. Awesome value.
Tasting note
Organic, soft, supple and Central Otago delicious - everything you want in a Pinot Noir. Awesome value and just the ticket when needing something new and special. Grapes from their Estate vineyards, destemmed, wild yeasts, French oak, no fining nor filtration.
