The world’s first commercially produced Manuka smoked whisky, this single malt is crafted from barley grown in the South Island and then kilned using New Zealand Manuka wood. Peated whiskies are normally produced in Scotland and have a huge cult following and this expression is a fantastic Kiwi take on this famous genre.
Thomson Whisky's 'Progress Report' imparts a smooth natural smokiness reminiscent of peated Scotch, but the distinct Manuka notes bring a delightful New Zealand spin to it.
