Fairlight, the namesake of this exceptional whisky, is also the name of the world's first digital synthesizer which was used extensively by many high profile musicians including Nick Rhodes of Duran Duran.
Waiheke Whisky chose the name Fairlight as this whisky is a synthesis of Northern and Southern Hemisphere whisky, blending premium unpeated single malt with Waiheke's own award winning peated malt, creating this delicious addition to their core range.

Tasting note
The aroma features notes of heather honey and vanilla, as well as delicate spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg. The palate offers a gentle smokiness from New Zealand peat, along with chocolate notes, leading to a medium-long finish characterised by dried fruit and additional chocolate.
