CLEARANCE DEAL - SAVE $25 PER BOTTLE!

Due to a change of New Zealand supply, we have sorted a scintillating discount on this cult-favourite boutique Gin to help clear out the last of their stock.

'Bathtub Gin' was an old term for bootleg, home-made spirits, though in this case it's a very tongue-in-cheek play by the Ableforth Distillery - no corners were cut in the making of this sensational, expensively crafted, boutique gin.

Botanicals featured here include: Juniper, cinnamon, coriander, cardamom, orange peel and clove - which are added gently to the highest quality copper pot-still spirit using an old-fashioned method called "cold compounding". The key ingredient used is a rare Sri Lankan cinnamon that imbues this gin with a subtle copper-gold colour and luscious mouthfeel.

Bathtub gin

I liked the packaging, however, a mission to open, the plasticky wax flew everywhere when I attempted opening, - I couldn't find the quick release lever.
The Gin is definitely a slight bathwater colour, however having never intentionally drunk bathwater I can only assume the Bathtub gin is superior in taste.
Complex strong nose with a blast of spice and herbs for the taste. I preferred it in a Martini than a G&T
Just another packaging comment, Checking the level in the bottle is quite difficult, being in a brown paper bag.
