Le Tribute Mezcal is crafted from 100% Cenizo Silvestre agave in Durango, Mexico, where Maestro Mezcalero Uriel Simental follows time-honoured artisanal methods. From underground volcanic pit ovens to hand-milling and open-air fermentation, every step is rooted in tradition and care. The result is a mezcal that captures the essence of Durango’s rugged landscape, bottled with authenticity.
Though owned by MG Destilerias in Barcelona, Le Tribute stays true to mezcal’s heritage by producing and bottling in Mexico, while committing to sustainability by replanting two agaves for every one harvested. Distinctive and bold, it embodies the brand’s “Old but New” philosophy - a mezcal that respects the past while pushing the category forward with unmistakable style.
Tasting Notes
Rich agave depth layered with smoky oak from Holm Oak wood, balanced by earthy spice and subtle sweetness. The finish is clean yet robust, leaving a lingering trail of smoke and character - puro corazón, pure heart.
