A magnificent Marlborough masterclass, this magical mixture is a marriage of multi-medal winning Marlborough gin and organic Marlborough pinot noir wine.
The wizards at Roots have done it again, creating another fantastic spirit for your enjoyment. As a base, they've distilled a classic juniper forward London Dry gin supported by the classic Roots botanicals you all know and love; juniper, coriander, grapefruit, hops and native kawakawa alongside the aromatic angelica and orris roots.
Tasting notes
Designed for both sipping and mixing, Roots Rosso can be a dramatically different experience depending on how you drink it. Neat, on or off the rocks, it has rich and flavourful off-dry taste reminiscent of a sweet vermouth. Mixed with soda or tonic it transforms into a refreshing spritz that transports you to a hot Marlborough summer's day. Delicious either way if you ask me!
