Curiosity

Curiosity Gin comes from The Spirits Workshop, a small urban distillery in Christchurch built around the idea of curiosity itself, distilling in small batches rather than to a fixed industrial recipe. Alongside traditional juniper, the range draws on a handful of native New Zealand botanicals, giving the gins a character that is recognisably local rather than a copy of an overseas style. The lineup runs from a classic London Dry approach through to something built entirely around fresh rhubarb.

The rhubarb style leans sweet and fruity with a distinctive pink colour, built for a Pink G&T or a simple gin fizz, while the other is closer to a traditional London Dry, suited to a classic Martini or Negroni. Both are made in small batches at the distillery's own site in Christchurch. Our gin range covers plenty of other styles to compare it against.
