Del Maguey

Del Maguey was founded in 1995 by American artist Ron Cooper, who discovered mezcal almost by accident on a visit to a weaving village in Oaxaca. Rather than one house style, the brand built its name on working directly with small family producers across different villages, each using its own agave and traditional pit-roasting methods. That approach helped turn mezcal into one of the most talked-about spirits behind any modern bar.

The mezcal in this collection is a more approachable, cocktail-focused expression created specifically for bartenders who wanted the smoky character of mezcal without the intensity or price of the single-village range. It is built to work in a cocktail rather than be sipped neat, standing up well to citrus or a good mixer without losing its identity.
