Crafted in Dunedin at the No 8 Distillery, their Horopito Gin is a blend of 8 botanicals and Aotearoa natives, including locally foraged horopito.
The horopito leaf gives this gin a familiar peppery heat which both refreshes and excites the palate. It's a perfect gin to shine through in a bright G&T, and also makes a killer negroni.
Tasting Note
To taste you have a great citrus burst of orange, cardamom, and a hint of cordite on the nose. Complex peppery spice notes on the palate with subtle cinnamon and cardamom, with a lovely lingering zest finish from the orange.
