Built in 1898 by John Duff, the BenRiach Speyside Distillery stands out as one of the only distilleries to have its own on-site floor malting and uses water sourced from the nearby Burnside Springs.

The Benriach Authenticus is a unique offering from Benriach's peated range, providing a rare glimpse into the world of peated Speyside single malt whisky tracing back to the 1980s. Made with a deeply peated malted barley and matured for 30 years, BenRiach Authenticus boasts a warm smokiness with notes of spiced oak and a smooth finish of creamy vanilla, summer fruits, and fresh herbs.

Tasting Notes

This whisky boasts a harmonious blend of wild honey and peat in its aroma. The palate is treated to a balance of soft, creamy vanilla, summer fruits, and a subtle touch of cocoa, while the gradual emergence of sweet peat enhances its distinctive character.
