Teeling Wonders Of Wood Portugese Oak Whiskey 700ml

The latest installment of Teeling's Wonders of Wood series features their Single Pot Still whiskey, expertly crafted using a blend of 50% malted and unmalted barley. After being triple distilled at their Dublin distillery, it is aged exclusively in virgin casks made from Portuguese oak. This limited edition bottling boasts an ABV of 50% and is unfiltered for a truly authentic taste.

Tasting Notes

A balanced combination of red fruits, berries, and pears, complemented by toasted wood and spices, is present on the nose. Meanwhile, the palate experiences an equal blend of fruit and spice, with the addition of oak tannins and burnt sugar. The finish is characterized by a dryness, coupled with lingering notes of honey, spice, and fruit.
