A bright and spirited blend of grain and malt whiskies from Nikka's two distinctly unique distilleries; Miyagikyo and Yoichi, The Days features a moderate body that showcases a variety of delicate, tangy flavours that seamlessly blend with a subtle hint of rich vanilla-toffee and a faint trace of refreshing peat smoke.
Tasting note
Fresh, fruity notes of apples, pears, and honeydew are complemented by orange oil, malt sweetness, and lemon cheesecake on the nose. The creamy and smooth palate features hints of toffee apple, roasted nuts, toasty malted cereal, and vanilla fudge, with a touch of barrel char and juicy apples. The finish is a buttery combination of lemon, shortbread, vanilla, and sugar.
