Lighthouse Gin is Martinborough’s original craft gin, handcrafted since 2005 and inspired by the iconic Cape Palliser Lighthouse on the rugged southern tip of the North Island. Head Distiller Rachel Hall, New Zealand’s first female Head Distiller, works with pure spring water filtered through the Remutaka Ranges and a carefully balanced blend of nine botanicals. Fresh Yen Ben lemon and Navel orange zest bring vivid citrus, while juniper, coriander, almond, cinnamon, cassia, liquorice, and orris root build spice, texture, and complexity underneath. Double distillation keeps the finished gin remarkably smooth, clean, and true to its classic London Dry style.
It now arrives in a striking new presentation designed to better reflect its premium pedigree, with a taller, slimmer bottle, a more modern label, prominent lighthouse icon, and elevated embellishments. Giving this New Zealand classic a fresher, more elegant look without changing the gin inside.
