Handcrafted in Dunedin, No 8 Distillery's flagship 'Dunners Gin' is their New Zealand inspired take on the classic London Dry gin.
With premium quality shining every step of the way - this is very smooth, aromatic, dry gin. Botanicals include a mix of traditional herbs from the Mediterranean and Aotearoa, blending the culinary histories of the head distillers.
To taste, you'll find kawakawa on the nose followed by citrus notes of lemon, orange, and grapefruit, and a subtle hint of thyme. On the palate, Kawakawa on the front, followed by notes of thyme, along with layers of sage, citrus, liquorice, and tarata (lemonwood) - a perfect harmony of flavours, and an incredibly balanced gin.
As you'd imagine, this makes a world-class G&T, and is an exceptional base for classic martinis and any gin-based cocktail.
