Adelphi’s Private Stock Blend is a beautifully old-school Scotch whisky that shows just how good a blend can be when it’s treated with the same care as a single malt. Created by one of Scotland’s most respected independent bottlers, this is a high-malt blend built around whiskies from Speyside and Islay, supported by four different grains and managed through a traditional solera system to keep the style consistent and beautifully integrated over time.

The result is a smooth, characterful whisky that brings together honeyed Speyside sweetness, a gentle coastal influence and a restrained touch of Islay peat. It’s approachable, balanced and quietly complex, making it just as enjoyable neat as it is with a splash of water. This is a blend that feels confident in its roots and unapologetically classic.

Tasting Notes

On the nose there’s a pleasing mix of estery fruit and soft peat, with ripe orchard fruit sitting alongside a hint of salty sea air. The palate has a light coastal feel, medium-bodied with a rounded nuttiness and gentle sweetness. The finish is long and warming, bringing beach bonfire smoke, pear drops and a soft, lingering peat note.
