Gabriel Boudier Violet Liqueur is a beautifully fragrant French classic that captures the soft, floral charm of fresh violet petals. Made in Dijon by one of France’s most respected liqueur houses, this is a sweet, aromatic liqueur that’s elegant rather than overpowering, and a lot more versatile than you might expect.
It’s a favourite behind the bar for adding a floral twist to bolder cocktails like a Gin & Tonic or Violet Martini, but it’s just as good drizzled over desserts or spooned onto sorbet. A little goes a long way, bringing colour, perfume and a gentle sweetness wherever it’s used.
Tasting Notes
The aroma jumps straight out with fresh violet petals. On the palate it’s smooth and floral, with a rich, spring-like sweetness that lingers nicely through the finish without becoming heavy.
