Mt Edward White Vermouth is a fresh, organic take on the classic aperitif, made right here in Central Otago. Built on a base of Riesling and Chenin, it’s infused with handpicked elderflower straight from the winery’s own Felton Road garden. Light, dry, and aromatic, it shows just how good vermouth can be when you start with quality wine and local botanicals.
Born from inspiration at Rootstock, a cutting-edge natural wine fair in Sydney, this release is New Zealand’s first new wave vermouth. At just 17% ABV, it’s gentle, elegant and effortlessly versatile - a true summer starter that’s as happy in a Negroni as it is over ice with a slice of orange.
Tasting Notes
Bright elderflower and floral lift on the nose, with a dry, clean palate that balances citrus, herbs and Riesling freshness. Light, refreshing and moreish, with a crisp botanical finish.
