Domaine Bisconte is a boutique gem tucked away in the sun-drenched hills of Roussillon, run with serious heart and hands-on passion by Pascale Jonca (a pharmacist by trade) and Manuel Vincent (a hydrogeologist who knows his way around terroir). For over 15 years, this duo has poured their soul into the land—producing wines that are honest, expressive, and effortlessly charming.
This is Roussillon red made from syrah, grenache and mourvédre with a serious sense of swagger. Brimming with dark, sun-ripened fruit - think blackberries and plums, backed by a savoury lick of dried herbs, cracked pepper, and a flick of wild garrigue. There’s a lovely graphite edge and just enough liquorice to keep things interesting. Medium to full-bodied but never heavy, it glides across the palate with smooth, silky tannins and a warm Mediterranean heartbeat.
Tasting note
Very juicy red with loads of black cherries, liquorice and peppery notes. Medium to full-bodied, silky texture. Great drinking now or to keep 4-5 years in the cellar.
