Our team are well known fans of good Australian Grenache so we were thrilled when this absolute gem made it on to our tasting table. Beautifully presented in gorgeous heritage squat bottles, this really is the perfect red. It's a generous style showcasing the softer flavours of Australian Grenache - a variety we often describe as tasting like good Kiwi Pinot Noir blended with the power and weight of Aussie Shiraz.
Tasting note
A full bodied wine that has ample weight with ripe fruited intensity yet still feels fresh. Expressive red and dark berry fruit underpinned by hints of chocolate and subtle oak. The palate delivers soft tannins and ensures a lasting concentration of berry fruit vanilla and ground spices. Perfect with lamb shoulder and spicy cous cous.
