We loved this one. This bold Californian Zin hails from the Lodi region - the zinfandel capital of the world. It is a big, richly weighted, reserve styled wine; densely packed with spicy red fruits and classic Christmas cake flavours that flow over the palate in waves and a finish that lingers with fine tannins and a lick of fresh acidity. It's another opulent wine from Three Finger Jack; a full bodied and complete red wine that we know will have Zinfandel regulars falling at its feet.

The winery: "Three Finger Jack Old Vine Zinfandel is bold and concentrated, opening with rich aromas of black raspberry, toasty oak, roasted coffee, and plum. Intense flavors of blackberry, black cherry and spice liven the palate of this bold Zinfandel. Balanced acidity and smooth tannins add complexity and depth to a lingering finish."
