Briottet's Creme de Cassis is a classic blackcurrant liqueur from the historic Maison Briottet in Dijon, the spiritual home of crème de cassis. Made using carefully selected blackcurrants, it delivers the deep, vibrant fruit character that has made this style of liqueur a staple of French aperitif culture for generations.
Rich, bright and beautifully balanced, it brings intense blackcurrant flavour with just the right touch of freshness and gentle bitterness to keep things lively. A small splash instantly transforms a glass of dry white wine into a classic Kir, while Champagne turns it into the famously elegant Kir Royale. It is also excellent in cocktails or simply served with soda for an easy aperitif.
Maison Briottet’s story stretches back to 1836 and the house remains family run today by the fifth generation, continuing a long tradition of crafting exceptional fruit liqueurs in the heart of Burgundy.
Tasting Notes
Bright aromas of fresh blackcurrants lead the nose. The palate is rich and vibrant with intense berry flavour, balanced by a subtle bitterness and lively freshness before finishing long and fruit driven.
