What a deal this is. Excellent Hawke's Bay Pinot Gris from the magic hands of winemaker Daniel Brennan and the Decibel team. The Giunta range produces exciting, modern wines and this 2023 release is right on the money.
This charming wine is fruit-forward with ripe flavours of pear and green apples shining on the palate, balanced by zesty acidity to round things out. This wine shows plenty of varietal character and texture but remains fresh and light on the palate. Outstanding value.
Tasting note
Fresh pears and hints of aromatic spice in this departure from the typical Pinot Gris of heavier fruit and alcohol. This one is refreshing, perky and pleasurable.
