This is deliciously fresh sparkling merlot from the youngest member of the Ham winemaking family in Hawke's Bay. This is a fun and fruity wine with layers of tangy strawberry and cream flavours. Perfect on a sunny day or with a picnic or deli-platter fare, this lovely wine has captured the hearts of our customers and is a firm favourite, year round.
Tasting note
Aromas include an array of berry fruit, which are backed up by red apple and hints of rosehip. The berry fruit flavours continue on the palate with strawberry and cream to fore. A refreshing undercurrent of raspberry acidity completes the palate finishing with a long raspberry note.
