The Arran Amarone Cask Finish beautifully marries the bold flavours of red wine with the renowned taste of Arran Single Malt.
Following initial maturation in traditional oak casks for several years, this bottling of The Arran Single Malt was further aged in a carefully chosen selection of Amarone wine casks. These casks originated from a skilled artisan winemaker in the Veneto region of Italy.
A decadent Italian wine meets a complex and vibrant Scottish whisky - there is a lot to enjoy with this Single Malt and you will love every dram.
Tasting note
The nose of this product boasts notes of cherry, Turkish delight, and chocolate. On the palate, you can taste poached pears with a touch of cranberry and honey. The finish is a perfect blend of sweetness, pears, Turkish delight, cherries, and dark chocolate.
