This premium single malt has been matured for 22 years in first fill American ex-bourbon casks, highlighting the distinct tropical notes that are a result of the unique copper cooling ring distillation process at the Fettercairn distillery.
Tasting note
The aroma contains hints of banana, citrus, and plum, as well as raisin, fig, and gingerbread. Tasting reveals a blend of spiced pear, caramelized orange, and coffee, balanced by liquorice and followed by notes of morello cherry, plum, and treacle.
